There are more than 14,000 students at Henry Ford Community College; more than 8,500 students at the University of Michigan-Dearborn; and over 22,000 young adults between 18 and 35 that call the City of Dearborn home.

The Counter Project aims to be the eyes, ears and voice of that 18-35 year old demographic in Dearborn.

Options
There are four types of ads on The Counter Project: Basic, Premium and Simple Support Ads.

1. Basic ads appear at the bottom of every page. The rate for the Basic ad is:

$5 per month
$25 for design support (if needed; you're welcome to design and build your own ad. All banner ads need to be 468x60 px.)

2.Premium ads appear just below the header on the main page, and centered over the front-page content. These ads are the first thing people will see when they visit The Counter Project. The rate for the Premium ad is:

$20 per month
$25 for design support (if needed; you're welcome to design and build your own ad. All banner ads need to be 468x60 px.)

All basic and premium ads are put into the ad rotation equally, with a weight of 1. There is a way, however, to get your ad into the rotation more often. It's called weighting, and the way you do it is by paying more up front. For every $2, your weight goes up by one point for the duration of your ad campaign. For example, an extra $10 will give your ad a weight of 6 (1+5). An extra $40 will give your ad a weight of 21 (1+20)

You will receive periodic updates letting you know how many page impressions your ad has received, as well as how many actual clicks.

3. Finally, there are Simple Support Ads. Simple Support advertisers will be listed with other Counter Project supporters on a special page (the link is located to the left, above the GoogleAds). Each text-only ad will be up to 75 characters (including spaces), which you can use for your name (or company's name), and any other info you'd like included. You may include your web address, but no hotlinks will be available in Simple Support Ads. The rates for Simple Support Ads are:

$15 for six months
$25 for one year
$50 for a lifetime ad
