Hey everyone, welcome to my blog where I am very much looking forward to providing you all with honest & realistic advice about dating, relationships, and being single.  I am on a quest for a real, honest nurturing relationship with someone I’m compatible with hence the reason that I’m 31 & single.  Finding someone sucks & I know all about it first hand.  I’ve had good, bad, and worse relationships throughout my life & I’m hoping that my trials & tribulations will provide not only laughs for you but real advice for your situation because chances are, I’ve been there.  As I continue on my fairly cynical journey looking for my “soul mate” (if that even exists) I’ll be sure to keep you all posted on what’s going on with my quest as well as helping you with yours & hopefully my past can benefit your current reality & future.

If you are looking for someone to just tell you “everything will work out” you are looking to the wrong person, you may want to call your mom.  I give honest advice, I don’t sugar coat anything & chances are I may even piss you off but I calls em like I sees em because I’m not attached to the situation.  I know that half the time when you ask for advice all you are looking for is someone to agree with what you want to do in the situation & chances are that won’t be my advice but you never know, you may already know what you need to do & my validation might actually help you do it.  Relationships are hard & so are break-ups but do you really want to stay in an unhappy, unhealthy situation for fear that you may never meet anyone else?  I know plenty of people who got married because they figured they should or they didn’t think they would meet anyone better but just so you know…there are tons of people in this world & more than likely you can always find someone better, especially if you are unhappy in your current situation.  My first nugget of wisdom is this: It’s ok to be single, at any age, the trick is learning to accept & appreciate yourself & your solitude because if you don’t love being you nobody worth sharing your life with will appreciate you either.

That being said…feel free to email me at my2cents.advice@gmail.com with any & all questions & hopefully I’ll be able to shed some light on your dilemmas!!  I look forward to hearing from you.
Kelly
