3/4/10 Dearborn Women's Expo this weekend
In these challenging times, it’s nice to hear when good things are happening.
The annual Dearborn Women's Expo at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Avenue, has a special meaning for the Dearborn women who created the event.
Now in its 7th year and being held this Sunday, March 7, the Expo raises funds for Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan (CLF) and is dedicated to the memory of Brittany Crawford who was a student at Dearborn High when she lost her battle with leukemia in December 2002. The event creators, Janeen and Julie Sullivan, are sisters-in-laws and the mother and aunt of Brittany, who together organize an event that attracts 100+ exhibitors and 2,500 attendees.
